The Kantech ™ KT-400 is a ready for a 4-door Ethernet controller that provides 128-bit AES encrypted communication with the EntraPass system and is a highly reliable security solution for any business-sensitive business.
The KT-400 can easily be integrated into an existing EntraPass system with other Kantech controllers (KT-100 and KT-300) or can provide a foundation for a brand new security installation.

Easy network connection

With a built-in Ethernet port, no external IP device is required to connect to the network. The built-in port is double sensitive, which means the system senses whether the connection is 10Base-T or 100Base-T and is automatically adjusted for a faster connection.

Easy programming with removable terminal blocks

To speed up installation and facilitate repairs, the CT-400 is characterized by removable terminal blocks that are easy to connect and color-coded for quick identification. This prevents the installer from losing precious time, considering where to connect each wire.

Low bandwidth consumption

The CT-400 manages network queries and communicates with the EntraPass Gateway only when an event occurs. The integrity of the communication is provided by a clock signal that is sent at regular intervals to the EntraPass system. This asynchronous communication greatly reduces the bandwidth required for network access control of your access control system.

More flexibility with expansion modules

The 4-door CT-400 has 16 built-in inputs. Up to 240 can be added by adding the new expansion modules to a total of 256 inputs. Each input can be used individually for a variety of applications, including a door contact, exit exit detectors, external alarm system zones, and so on. Additionally, there are 4 built-in relay outputs and can be added up to 256 relays or open-ended outputs.
